Local use of brick in Union, NJ on all of the retaining walls on route 21, made “brick” the obvious choice when considering a structural mounted noise wall. Since existing structures could not handle the additional dead load, traditional brick was not an option. Sound Zero panels were fabricated in a ‘faux brick’, complimenting the existing brick very well.
