I-476 just outside of Philadelphia is locally known as the “Blue Route”, and was not a popular topic while being built. The project was started and then stopped for almost ten years by some of the Main Line communities it cut through. When the issues were finally resolved, several communities participated and cooperated with PennDot, providing custom graphics which enhanced the lightweight Sound Zero Panels.
